Organisations and businesses are working to help as many people as possible experience the special magic of the Broads, with wheelchair accessible boats available, visitor attractions with facilities to help people with visual or hearing impairments and boardwalks suitable for wheelchair users. Read the Easier Access Guide for more details. You can also contact the Broads Information Centres at Hoveton, How Hill and Whitlingham Visitor Centre. All are wheelchair accessible (although limited at Toad Hole Cottage) and all have an induction loop.
If you have a visual impairment and would like to receive the Broadcaster visitor magazine on CD please contact us.
Please be aware that facilities at places listed below vary considerably and may not have the particular facilities you require. For instance only some boat trips are wheelchair accessible, others are included here because they have a hearing amplification system available. Please check the listings for details. You may also find it helpful to contact the places you plan to visit in advance to check that they have everything you need.
